At a Glance

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Director, Global Accounts to join the Data Center Power & Control Division. Identify and pursue key customers (particularly large Data Center Customers). Collaborate with DPC Leadership, Product Management, National Account Managers, Sales Agencies, and Distributors to develop account understanding and build a strategy for each account designated.

What Will You Do?

  • Develop Annual growth Strategy for Account by collaborating with Data Connectivity Brand Marketing Leaders and understanding key drivers for Legrand. Implements said strategy by working with Product Management, RVPs, Sales Team and the Account.
  • As a subject matter expert on Data Center Architecture, develop a deep understanding of relevant areas of the data center and when/where provides value and when it may not.
  • Develop a deep understanding of Legrand’s Data Connectivity product offering, to include acclaim. Understand the benefits, product roadmap, and relevant competition.
  • Provide product and marketing needs to relevant internal personnel.
  • Develop additional incentive programs where appropriate.
  • Identify new ways to satisfy customer, strengthen our position and grow revenue by understanding the customer’s needs and long-term strategic growth initiatives (including Sales, Marketing, IT and Operations).
  • Understand Legrand’s KPIs and create metrics to measure our mutual success with the accounts.
  • Drive others to meet goals by clearly communicating our vision and direction – both internally and to the customer.
  • Schedule and conduct regular in person meetings with key contacts at accounts to measure progress and make improvements to strategy, implementation, and execution where necessary.
  • As the key point of contact for Legrand in the assigned accounts, ensures that Data Connectivity and Legrand Executive Management have visibility of the account and are visible to the Account so as to demonstrate to the Account their strategic importance to Legrand and develop those Senior level relationships.
  • Interface with other Legrand Managers and Leaders when identifying additional Legrand opportunities at the Account.
  • Present the Legrand Branding message clearly and ensures that is delivered throughout the Account (National, Regional and Local).

Base Compensation: $140,000 - $150,000 per year, eligible for commission

  • BA/BS in Business or equivalent National Account Management experience.

Experience

  • 7+ years of relevant work experience in National Account Management, Sales or Marketing.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities.
  • Working knowledge of SalesForce.com and how Sales leaders use as a tool.
  • Good written and verbal communications skills to multiple audiences.
  • Strong presentation skills – both creating content and delivering message.
  • Ability to get things down through others.
  • A willingness and ability to work across organizational boundaries.
