Job summary

Pacvue Corporation seeks a seasoned Director of FP&A to lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the Enterprise business.

You will partner with executives to set targets, develop models, and guide strategic investments. This role drives ROI, dashboards, and cross-functional alignment across accounting, operations, and product.

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience with senior leadership responsibility.
  • Proven ability to lead a major function or department.
  • Strategic planning and long-range execution experience.
  • Strong financial and operational management capabilities.
  • Experience developing leaders and succession planning.
  • Executive-level presentation and influence skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis tools; AI experience is a plus.
  • Experience with financial planning software (Anaplan, Workday, Adaptive, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes.
  • Set financial targets and KPIs with executive team and hold departments accountable.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities shaping company strategy.
  • Develop financial models and frameworks for strategic initiatives and M&A.
  • Recommend financial direction on strategic projects and market expansion.

  • Manage variance analysis against budget and prior year; drive corrective actions.
  • Evaluate ROI and financial impact of investments and changes company-wide.

About the Role:

The Director of FP&A leads the financial planning, analysis, and forecasting function for the Enterprise business. This role owns financial strategy for the business — through lower management — and reconciles multi-stakeholder views to drive decisions with long-term organizational impact.

Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy and Planning

  • Own and drive the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes end-to-end
  • Set financial targets and KPIs in partnership with the executive team, and hold department heads accountable to them
  • Identify financial trends, risks, and opportunities that shape company strategy, and act on them independently
  • Lead the development of financial models and frameworks that shape strategic initiatives and M&A activity across the business

Decision Support

  • Independently recommend and guide financial direction on strategic projects, product launches, and market expansion opportunities, in partnership with senior leadership
  • Build the dashboards and reporting frameworks the executive team relies on to run the business
  • Own variance analysis against budget and prior year, and drive the corrective actions that follow
  • Set the standard for evaluating ROI and financial impact on proposed investments and operational changes across the company
  • Lead the FP&A function through subordinate managers, overseeing multiple integrated teams
  • Set the processes, tools, and best practices the function runs on
  • Develop the leaders on the team, including succession planning for key roles
  • Ensure financial reporting and planning stay aligned across accounting, operations, and product

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary financial strategy partner to senior management and department leaders, translating business drivers into financial plans
  • Present financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership, providing analysis that informs board-level decisions
  • Influence organizational strategy through financial analysis, and drive financial discipline across the org

The annual base salary range for this position is $175,000-$215,000 USD. The actual salary will vary depending on the applicant’s experience, skills, and abilities as well as internal equity and market data for their location. This position is also eligible for an additional annual bonus compensation through one of Pacvue’s highly attractive incentive plans, full details will be provided during the recruitment process.
