Job summary

Kate Spade, a Tapestry brand, seeks a Director of FP&A to partner with the NA Direct-to-Consumer organization and own global financial consolidation for the Kate Spade brand.

You will be a financial thought partner to the NA DTC leadership team, building financial plans and helping hit targets, communicating with executives up to C-level, and leading a team of three direct reports in a fast-paced, global environment.

  • Consolidate global financials; oversee FP&A deliverables for Tapestry corporate FP&A.
  • Lead long-range planning (LRP) and annual operating plan (AOP) for NA DTC.
  • Drive ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects.

Job description

The Director, FP&A will be the finance business partner to the NA DTC organization and own global financial consolidation for the Kate Spade brand. This role is a financial thought partner to the NA DTC leadership team, building financial plans and helping deliver financial targets. The Director communicates at all levels, including C‑Level, and manages a team of three direct reports.

Responsibilities
  • Manage monthly close and forecast processes for the NA DTC organization
  • Partner with NA DTC leadership and regional finance leads to fuel growth and generate efficiencies across the P&L
  • Support capital investment management and ensure ROI
  • Consolidate global financials; oversee deliverables for Tapestry corporate FP&A
  • Lead the strategic financial long‑range planning (LRP) and annual operating plan (AOP) processes for the NA DTC organization
  • Drive ad‑hoc financial analysis and special projects
Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 7 years of experience in a highly analytical role; retail experience is a plus
  • Exceptional financial modelling skills (Excel Expert) and experience building strategy‑based long‑range forecasts
  • Prior experience with SAP or other ERP application, Hyperion, and/or Smart View
  • Proven ability to manage and develop talent

Compensation & Benefits

Base Pay Range: $170,000.00–$180,000.00
