Position Summary:

The Director of Clinical Expansion is a strategic role responsible for leading clinical program growth, operations, and relationship management with clinical sites. The role involves traveling between campuses and clinical sites to strengthen partnerships, ensure high standards, and facilitate smooth clinical experiences for students. The position is remote, preferably based near a major airport in the southeastern US, and requires excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Expand clinical sites to support growth in existing and new programs.
2. Lead executive communication and clinical activities with health system leaders.
3. Build and maintain relationships with clinical site stakeholders.
4. Strategically plan and negotiate clinical site expansions, contracts, and budgets.
5. Develop clinical recruitment strategies to maintain student placements.
6. Advise on market trends for clinical sites nationwide.
7. Coordinate with academic and non-academic departments for clinical experiences and student placement opportunities.
8. Support marketing and community engagement activities related to clinical sites.
9. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Clinical Program, Healthcare Administration, or Business Administration; Doctoral degree preferred.
• Management experience in healthcare systems.
• Professional licensure or certification in healthcare (preferred).
• Experience with C-suite presentations and hospital administration.
• Strong communication, leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, ExamSoft, WebAdMIT.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel.

Work Environment:
