Director - Financial Operations (Hospital)

Position Details
  • This is a Hybrid position: 3 days on-site and 2 days remote.
  • Must reside in the South Florida area.

Role Purpose

Provides financial stewardship and leadership within the assigned market or ministry through strategic planning, internal controls, and budget management. Supports market and ministry executives, aligns strategies, evaluates company performance, manages teams, and oversees financial reporting and compliance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead financial strategy and operational performance at the ministry level.
  • Manage teams of mid- and senior-level professionals.
  • Ensure integrity of financial information and reporting.
  • Support compliance with applicable laws and organizational policies.
Essential Functions
  • Demonstrate Trinity Health's Mission, Values, Vision, Actions & Promise.
  • Provide leadership and strategic guidance to RHM and Market/Ministry leaders.
  • Standardize policies and optimize processes across the organization.
  • Manage vendor and contract labor strategies.
  • Support system-wide strategy development and deployment.
  • Ensure operational and financial performance metrics are met.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • At least five years of progressive financial management experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree or CPA certification.
  • Healthcare industry experience, multi-hospital system experience, and relevant certifications.
