Job summary

Morgan Stanley is seeking a Director-level Global Financial Crimes Integrations & New Product Approvals professional to lead risk assessments for new product proposals and oversee governance across the NPA lifecycle.

You will collaborate with technology and business partners to document control requirements, manage cross-functional sessions, and report program status and risks. ACAMS certification is preferred and eligibility for incentive compensation may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree or certification preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in financial crimes compliance, AML, risk management, or product governance.
• Strong understanding of AML, sanctions, KYC/EDD, anti-corruption, and related controls.
• Experience leading product development, governance initiatives, or business expansion.
• Willingness to attend after-hours calls; PMP or equivalent is a plus.
• Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint and JIRA; experience in Agile/hybrid environments.
• Experience translating business and technical requirements into control implementations.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of financial crimes risk assessments for new product proposals.
• Collaborate with technology and cross-functional teams to document control requirements.
• Ensure financial crimes control requirements are understood and implemented.
• Lead cross-functional working sessions and assess feasibility and readiness.
• Maintain governance frameworks and documentation standards.
• Prepare reporting materials for senior management and communicate risks.
