• Knowledge of federal regulations and financial aid systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and direct financial aid strategies within federal/state regulations.
• Implement packaging policies and procedures for awarding aid.
• Manage committees that make funding decisions across programs.
• Evaluate aid eligibility in collaboration with relevant offices.
• Oversee daily operations of the Office of Financial Aid and staff.
• Oversee hiring, onboarding, workload allocation, and annual reviews.
• Train staff in counseling students in specialty areas (e.g., veteran, international).
• Manage the office budget and update policies/manuals.
