DoorDash, Inc. is seeking a strategic finance leader to guide our Ads & Promos strategy. You will own the full P&L, partner with cross‑functional teams, and ensure investments balance profitability with customer experience.

This role demands deep financial discipline and the ability to translate data into actionable plans. You’ll lead weekly reporting, forecasting, and quarterly planning, build compelling business cases, and work with senior leadership to drive high‑impact initiatives.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Strategic Finance, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or Consulting.
• Proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive decisions in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
• Experience owning budgets and managing P&Ls across markets, verticals, and products.
• Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills.
• Experience with analytics tools and large datasets to derive actionable insights.

We're looking for people who can use strategy to identify areas of opportunity, and collaborate to help carry projects from conception through execution.

About The Role

We are looking for someone who will help guide our strategy in Ads & Promos. You will be the strategic advisor to important partners across DoorDash to ensure we are making the most efficient investment and capital allocation decisions while improving the experience for all of our advertisers and marketplace participants. You will lead financial reporting, forecasting, and planning, and will guide financial insights and direction for all of our operational decisions and strategies.

• Tackle complex operational challenges by partnering closely with cross-functional teams across Finance (Accounting, Analytics) and beyond (Operations, Sales, Product, Marketing, Legal) to drive data-informed decisions and high-impact investments

Compensation

The successful candidate’s starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependant and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants.

Paid Time Off Details

• For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
• For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).

The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado. $193,800-285,000 USD.
