Job summary

Chobani is seeking a Director, Finance Capital & Procurement to lead accounting, risks, controls and processes for capital and procurement spend, both direct and indirect. The role requires directing fixed asset management and robust financial reporting in a fast-paced environment.

The candidate will drive global standardization, partner with Procurement teams, and develop models for project spend and budgets. Strong leadership and 10+ years of experience are essential.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Accounting or Finance; CPA and/or MBA a plus.
• 10+ years of relevant accounting or finance experience.
• 2-3 years fixed asset experience.
• Strong analytical and problem solving, systems and communications skills.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting; build credibility and relationships with stakeholders.
• Proficient in Microsoft products, databases, and accounting software.
• Proficient in ERP fixed asset modules; implementation a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and switch between tasks quickly.
• Strong Leadership experience (leading leaders).

Responsibilities

• Establish and enforce policies for tracking, recording, and reporting fixed assets.
• Provide direction on large capital projects.
• Support preparation and development of project master budgets.
• Design and manage financial models to support project spend and status; ensure data integrity.
• Facilitates regular status meetings with essential parties to ensure transparency of project status and expectations.
• Develop and communicate standard operating procedures to ensure an effective system of internal controls.
• Monthly, quarterly and annual reconciliation and reporting.
• Ensure proper Delegation of Spending Authority adherence prior to capital execution.
• Lead, manage and support central reporting, analysis and insight related to commodity costs.
• Oversee financial support for material spend across forecasting, budgeting, cash management, strategic planning; partner with Procurement category teams.
• Drive global standardization and best practices for Procurement Finance activities.
• Drives Productivity Programs for Procurement.
• Lead initiatives to identify inefficiencies and drive changes to streamline workflows and standardize processes.
• Recommend process improvement and action plans.
• Investigate opportunities to reduce Company risk and streamline processes.
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis as required.
• Perform other duties and participate in special projects.

Director, Finance Capital & Procurement is a highly skilled and strategic leader who will lead and manage the accounting, risks, controls and processes and provide support around the company’s spend relating to capital and procurement both direct and indirect. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Fixed Asset and Capital

• Direct the accounting and management of the company’s fixed assets, including asset capitalization, depreciation, and impairment
• Establish and enforce policies and procedures for theaccuratetracking, recording, and reporting of fixed assets.

• Drives Productivity Programs for Procurement.
• Leads initiatives to identify inefficiencies and in current processes and procedures related to Procurement Finance. Oversee and drives projects to implement changes to streamline workflows, increase efficiency, harmonize and standardize process and ways of working for Procurement Finance

Requirements

• B.S. in Accounting or Finance. CPA and/or MBA a plus
• 10 + years of relevant general accounting or finance experience
• 2-3 years fixed asset experience
• Strong analyticaland problem solving, systems and communications skills
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting. Ability to develophigh levelsof credibility and forge solid and positive professional relationships with subordinates, peers, and upper management
• Proficient in Microsoft products, database software and other applicable accounting and financial software and systems
• Proficient in ERP fixed asset modules. Implementation a plus
• Ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment

The salary range for this full-time position is $140,000.00 - $200,000, + bonus + equity + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
