Chewy, based in Bellevue, WA, seeks a Director of Finance for Ads and Discovery to lead the finance support for Chewy Ads and the Search and Discovery teams. You will shape investment strategy, targets, and performance metrics to drive accountability and growth.

The ideal candidate combines deep finance leadership with digital advertising know-how, excels at cross-functional collaboration, and can scale a fast-growing media business while partnering with executives and product teams.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in finance roles with increasing levels of responsibility.
• Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Direct experience supporting digital advertising, retail media, or paid media.
• Excellent communication with executives and stakeholders.
• Data-driven with strong analytical modeling capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Own financial planning, reporting, and budgeting for Chewy’s Advertising, Search and Discovery businesses.
• Lead finance partnership for Chewy Ads, including pricing, investments, and ROI measurement.
• Develop reporting mechanisms to transparently track performance against plans.
• Lead Monthly and Quarterly Business Reviews and cross-functional reviews.
• Evaluate advertising initiatives for revenue, margin, and scalability.
• Drive data-informed decisions and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Grow and mentor a high-impact finance team.
