Job summary

Chewy is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Commercial FP&A Finance team. You will apply finance knowledge and data-driven insights to support strategic decisions, drive growth, and ensure financial objectives are met.

You will model, forecast, and report on performance, partner cross-functionally, and participate in planning cycles, with responsibilities including monthly close coordination and performance analytics. This role offers robust benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management or Economics is required.
3+ years of relevant finance experience with a basic understanding of GAAP and financial statements.
Financial analysis and modeling skills, including forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and variance analysis.
Advanced Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, data tables, pivot tables).
Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and meet tight deadlines.
Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

Perform modeling and analytics to synthesize large data sets and provide leadership with clear recommendations.
Aid in reporting and performance management frameworks and define key metrics.
Collaborate with Finance, Merchandising, Marketing, Product, Supply Chain, and Accounting teams.
Participate in strategic planning, target setting, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
