POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Vice President, Commercial Operations, the Director, Field Support & Reporting will play a key role in supporting our first commercial launch and future growth. This role is responsible for driving field operations effectiveness through reporting, analytics, systems management, and process optimization. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in commercial operations, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work across teams to support field performance and business objectives. Candidates local to the Boston, MA area are preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Define, create and produce reporting and analytics for field teams and field leadership.
  • Lead incentive compensation process including design, operations, exception management, reporting.
  • Lead targeting, segmentation and alignment work including development and implementation of target lists as well as alignment updates.
  • Collaborate and work with internal teams and third-party vendors in supporting the operations of MDM, Data Lake, DQM, Catalog, Governance, Analytics, Commercial Reporting and any other related processes.
  • Manage Veeva CRM from commercial standpoint including updating data in the CRM, responding to field requests/questions, and working with vendor and internal IT to deliver system enhancements.
  • Identify and address operational problems and inefficiencies, report these to the management team and suggest solutions.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 12-15 years of biopharma commercial operations experience
  • Background in global product launches in the rare disease space within a small, pre-commercial or emerging biopharma company is preferred
  • Excellent project management ability
  • Superior Excel modeling ability, and high level of ability in PowerPoint
  • Familiarity with pulling and manipulating data from a data warehouse
  • Strong experience working with end users in the business to develop and implement reporting and analysis
  • Ability to communicate data via clear visuals
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail, diligence and reliability
  • High empathy and strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with a diverse team
  • Ability to work quickly and flexibly with resource constraints
  • High integrity and commitment to working within full legal/regulatory compliance
