Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics is seeking a Director-level Field Medical leader for Gastroenterology (West). You will lead a team of Medical Science Liaisons, shaping scientific strategy, performance, and training.

Travel is expected to support field activities, congresses, and stakeholder engagement. Ideal candidates have advanced health sciences degrees, extensive MSL or Medical Affairs leadership experience, and a strong ability to drive cross-functional collaboration while adhering to regulatory

Qualifications

Minimum: MSN/NP/PA or higher in health sciences; doctoral degree preferred.
Pharmaceutical industry and Medical Affairs experience with strategic leadership.
Extensive MSL or similar scientific role experience.
Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration.
Strong foundation in digital tools; openness to AI-enabled processes.
Understanding of compliance, ethics, legal and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and coach a team of MSLs; drive scientific and operational excellence.
Communicate expectations; ensure territory plans, training, and congress participation.
Develop and implement annual team tactical plan with internal approvals.
Use digital dashboards to monitor performance and KPIs.
Build cross-functional relationships and ethical scientific engagement.
