While this is a global role, the primary focus will be on the U.S. market, with opportunities to contribute to field analytics initiatives in other regions as needed.

This role is responsible for developing and executing a modern, data-driven analytics strategy to empower field teams, enhance commercial decision-making, and support sales force effectiveness—from planning through execution. This includes providing insights to optimize field operations and track performance in real time. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical, skilled in translating complex data into actionable commercial strategies, and comfortable working cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Digital, and Market Access. This role requires exceptional agility, innovation, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Here’s What You Will Do:

  • Develop and execute a field analytics strategy leveraging large-scale pharmaceutical sales datasets.
  • Utilize rigorous statistical modeling to analyze market dynamics, account engagement, and sales impact.
  • Translate complex data insights into clear, strategic recommendations for commercial leadership.
  • Design and implement reporting dashboards for sales force and leadership, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives; partner with Digital and Sales teams to ensure CRM tools and field reporting platforms are optimized.
  • Partner with Data Strategy and Digital colleagues to ensure field analytics are backed by high data quality and integrity.
  • Drive the exploration and utilization of GPTs to improve analytical workflows and insights generation.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of commercial model strategy by providing data-driven insights.
  • Oversee account segmentation and targeting processes using advanced statistical techniques to identify key market opportunities.
  • Support the design and refinement of sales force structure, size, and territory alignment.
  • Support incentive compensation design by providing analytics-driven insights that align with corporate objectives.
  • Establish territory-level sales targets using data-driven methodologies.
  • Deliver regular reporting for field and collaborate with Finance and HR to ensure field crediting processes are data-driven and compliant.

Here’s What You’ll Need (Minimum Qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Engineering, Statistics, Data Science, Business).
  • 10+ years of experience in biopharma analytics, sales operations, and/or commercial field analytics.
  • Proficiency with pharmaceutical datasets (e.g., IQVIA, chargebacks, claims data).
  • Experience using data tools (e.g., Dataiku, R, Python, SQL) to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
  • Strong ability to translate complex data insights into actionable commercial strategies.

Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table (Preferred Qualifications):

  • MBA or advanced degree in a quantitative field.
  • Proven experience in managing complex projects and working in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
  • Experience in the vaccines market.
  • Leadership experience in sales analytics, team management, or vendor oversight.
  • Knowledge of advanced analytics and machine learning techniques for commercial applications.
  • Strong intellectual curiosity about emerging technologies, including generative AI, and their potential to enhance commercial decision-making, automate insights generation and optimize workflows.
