Role Overview

We are seeking a Director to join our Federal Tax team, which specializes in providing corporate tax provision and compliance services to multinational public and private companies, with expertise in ASC 740 accounting for income taxes.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Manage tax provision preparation projects for quarterly and annual reporting for SEC registrants and private entities.
  2. Oversee U.S. tax compliance projects for multinational, public, and private equity portfolio companies.
  3. Manage project risks, resources, staffing, and financial performance, including billing, collections, and budgets.
  4. Advise clients on income tax accounting aspects of complex transactions such as IPOs, acquisitions, restructurings, and restatements.
  5. Lead technical projects in areas like corporate transactions, valuation allowances, and uncertain tax positions.
  6. Review clients’ income tax processes and internal controls for risk assessment and remediation.
  7. Identify key tax issues and provide clear, concise analyses.
  8. Build and maintain client relationships, demonstrating a solid understanding of their businesses.
  9. Manage daily account operations to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.
  10. Supervise and mentor team members, supporting their professional growth.
  11. Manage workload and deadlines, emphasizing quality and efficiency.
  12. Support business development efforts, including identifying opportunities and contributing to client pitches.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
  • 5+ years’ experience in income taxes (ASC 740) and corporate tax compliance, with proven technical problem-solving skills.
  • CPA or Licensed Attorney.
  • Experience leading teams and managing multiple projects.
  • Strong relationship-building and client advisory skills.
  • Excellent communication, research, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with OneSource preferred.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Motivated to learn, grow, and innovate.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Additional Information

Salary range: $130,000 - $175,000 annually, plus discretionary bonus, benefits, and other perks. We promote an inclusive culture that values diversity and equal opportunity.
