Job summary

Crypto.com is seeking an experienced Director to lead the compliance function for our registered FCM. You will design, execute, and maintain a robust regulatory program aligned with CFTC and NFA requirements, serving as the primary liaison during examinations and filings.

You will partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations to embed automated controls, oversee market surveillance for event contracts, and guide executive leadership on regulatory developments and risk management.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of senior compliance experience within a CFTC-regulated entity or financial regulatory agency.
• Deep understanding of the CEA, CFTC regulations, NFA rules, and standard derivatives market structures.
• Hands-on experience designing and operating compliance monitoring, AML/KYC workflows, and market surveillance programs.
• Preferred: Prior registration or qualification to serve as an FCM Chief Compliance Officer under 17 CFR §3.3.
• Bachelor-level or higher degree in Finance/Business/Law; JD or Master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain a compliance program meeting CEA, CFTC regulations, and NFA rules.
• Author and submit annual CFTC report to the Board.
• Serve as primary contact for CFTC and NFA during examinations and filings.
• Advise leadership on regulatory developments and compliance risks.
