DIRECTOR FACILITIES - AHMC Seton Medical Center

The Director is responsible for the operation of Facilities at Seton Medical Center and Seton Coastside, including Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Security, Telecommunications, and EVS. They guide staff to perform effectively, ensure continual operations, and compliance with regulations. They maintain and improve facilities to meet organizational demands, oversee planning, and implement action plans to achieve goals and metrics.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Oversee Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Security, Telecommunications, and EVS departments.
  2. Manage the physical plant to meet regulatory standards.
  3. Supervise all construction and facility projects.
  4. Ensure continuous, effective department operations and performance improvements.
  5. Develop and implement policies, conduct data analysis, and optimize revenue and expenses.
  6. Negotiate and maintain property leases and vendor contracts.
  7. Lead construction projects and maintain building safety systems.
  8. Improve tenant and physician relations, manage physician loans, and ensure a safe environment.
  9. Manage equipment maintenance, technology upgrades, and ensure safety compliance.
  10. Maintain quality of care through continuous monitoring and safety culture promotion.
  11. Handle fiscal management, cost containment, and revenue enhancement.
  12. Ensure regulatory compliance and promote a safe work environment.
  13. Lead human resource functions including staff development, performance assessments, and fostering diversity.
  14. Maintain operational efficiency, confidentiality, and personal development.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s preferred.
  • Five years of facilities or building management experience.
  • Effective communication skills and proficiency with MS Office.
