Job summary

Pacific Gas and Electric Company is seeking a Director of Enterprise Risk Management to lead a risk and compliance program within Electric Delivery. The role oversees a team of 15+ professionals and contractors, focusing on identifying, evaluating and mitigating enterprise risks while aligning with safety and regulatory requirements.

You will report to the Senior Director, Electric Risk & Compliance and collaborate with cross-functional leaders to strengthen internal controls, audit readiness

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance or equivalent experience.
• 10 years of successful professional experience with risk management, compliance management, audit or utility operations management.
• Proven track record of successful leadership experience, leading and developing strong teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and make decisions on risk management issues by identifying, measuring and managing operational and enterprise risks.
• Manage a wide variety of program components (e.g. enterprise-wide risk management) to ensure effective risk management.
• Analyze property loss control needs and develop action plans to enhance loss prevention programs.
• Lead enterprise risk and operational management programs and prepare review materials for senior management and the Board of Directors.
• Prepare complex materials (plans, budgets, reports, analyses) for documenting activities and meeting compliance requirements.
