Job summary

Central Bank is seeking a Director of Fraud Operations to design, implement, and lead a centralized fraud operating model. You will establish governance, staffing, case management, analytics, and prevention strategies while partnering with the Chief Risk Officer to identify and mitigate fraud losses across the bank.

The role requires building a high-performing team, guiding investigations, and delivering executive dashboards for risk oversight.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and lead Central Bank's centralized fraud operating model.
• Establish fraud governance, operating procedures, staffing strategies, reporting frameworks, and performance standards.
• Lead the transition of fraud responsibilities from market-based teams into a centralized enterprise fraud function.
• Implement and optimize enterprise fraud case management capabilities, technology, and workflows.
• Direct fraud investigations, mitigation efforts, recovery activities, and case management operations.
• Develop fraud analytics, management reporting, performance metrics, and executive dashboards.
• Identify emerging fraud threats, trends, and vulnerabilities and develop proactive prevention and mitigation strategies.
• Oversee quality assurance, operational effectiveness, and continuous improvement initiatives across Fraud Operations.
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing fraud operations team consisting of supervisors, investigators, and related fraud personnel.
• Partner with business line leaders, market leaders, designated market liaisons, and fraud advisory groups to strengthen fraud prevention and customer protection efforts.
• Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for enterprise fraud risk reduction initiatives.
• Comply with all applicable banking regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act requirements and information security standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned or as needed.
