Labcorp is seeking a HYBRID Director, Enterprise Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) position to join our team!
HYBRID: Applicants who live within commutable distance of either the Burlington, NC or Durham, NC location will follow a hybrid schedule. This schedule includes a minimum of three in office days per week at an assigned location, either Burlington or Durham, supporting both collaboration and flexibility.
The Director, Enterprise Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) role will be involved in Enterprise budgeting, forecasting, reporting, financial consolidation, performance management, and variance analysis. The position also partners with corporate function leaders as a finance business partner, providing support and developing strategy that aligns financial and operational goals. This role requires strong analytical skills and top-notch communication skills (written and verbal), capable of preparing financial materials for a wide range of stakeholders , a solid foundation in finance with demonstrated understanding of accounting principles, intellectual curiosity to learn about Labcorp’s businesses and value drivers, ambition to drive continuous improvement, and executive presence. This position will contribute to numerous time-sensitive, high-visibility, ad-hoc financial projects, analyses and presentations.
Interested candidates should have experience collaborating cross-functionally and with other finance leaders (e.g., Tax, Treasury, Accounting, business unit CFOs) to illuminate financial insights and support informed business decisions. Integrity, a strong work ethic, and attention to detail are essential attributes to be successful in this important role.
Assist with the development and review of annual budgets, periodic forecasts, and long-range plans (LRP) across all business units and functions
Drive continuous improvement in forecasting methodologies, including scenario planning and predictive modeling
Develop high-impact Enterprise financial analysis and insights for senior leadership including CEO, CFO, Executive Committee and Board of Directors that inform important business decisions
Collaborate with Finance leadership (Enterprise CFO, Tax, Treasury, Accounting, Financial Systems lead, etc.) across the organization to consolidate Enterprise financial performance, introducing business process improvement over time
Interpret complex financial information with an emphasis on driving value creation and supporting informed business decision-making
Monitor Enterprise-wide performance (monthly, quarterly, annually), including trend analysis, as well as identifying key variance drivers versus budget, forecast, prior year, and Consensus analyst estimates to finance and non-finance stakeholders throughout the organization
Drive KPI framework development and standardization across the Enterprise
Support corporate center leaders and serve as the finance partner, providing insights from financial data as well as advice and direction on managing the organization
Partner with business unit FP&A leads, accounting, treasury, investor relations, and strategy teams
Support Enterprise readiness related to Finance system modernization, such as transition to Oracle Fusion ERP
Mentor team member(s) that are earlier in their career, creating a culture of continuous improvement and accountability
Establish high level of credibility and trust; manage strong working relationships with internal customers
Develop succession plans and strengthen organizational bench strength
Build and scale Enterprise FP&A capabilities
