Job summary

Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA, seeks a Director of Data Platform and Application Services to lead the enterprise data platform, integrations, automation, and custom applications. You will guide a team, set architecture standards, and partner with campus leaders to ensure secure, reliable data access.

Reporting to the CIO, you will translate institutional priorities into durable technology solutions, drive data governance, and collaborate with Analytics, IR, and stakeholders to advance

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required (Information Science/CS or related).
• Master’s degree preferred in CS, Data Science or related field.
• Experience leading data platforms, integrations, and application services.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for enterprise data platform and applications.
• Lead data architecture, system integrations, and data delivery.
• Oversee development and lifecycle management of integrations and custom apps.
• Partner with governance and campus stakeholders to ensure data quality and access.
• Mentor and develop a technical team; manage hiring and performance.
• Communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
