This position is part of the Continuous Exploration, EE & Quality, under the Engineering Enablement, UX/UI & Sustainability organization.
Our mission is to deliver a lovable engineering experience that enables fast delivery in the right way through a set of tools, practices, and services covering the entire product lifecycle: Engineering Experience, UI/UX, Quality & Maintenance, Green IT, Security, DevRel.
The CEQ Org in Bangalore manages a well-spread toolchain and owns flagship products in Amadeus, such as JIRA, Nano, Change review, Reverse proxy, Octane, AQA, PTR management, and SonarQube. It also owns localization and web analytics solutions for Amadeus UI applications. The role involves managing replica organizations of DevRel, PM, and Architecture.
The CEQ org is part of two ARTs: Engineering Toolchain Train and ICE (IT Operations and Continuous Exploration) Train, with teams spread across Nice, Bangalore, and Germany. These teams work closely with other Agile Release Trains within the SAFe Amadeus Cloud Platform (SACP) solution.
As Director of Engineering, you will contribute to the global move to the cloud through programs like Curiosity and Imagine, and be involved in designing solutions for deploying applications on Azure, among other initiatives such as Agile transformation and toolchain improvements.
