Peabody is seeking a Director, Peabody Development to join our St. Louis HQ with Des Peres offices.

This pivotal role identifies, evaluates, negotiates, and executes corporate, domestic, and international opportunities aligned with the company’s strategic plan. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree preferred
• Candidates with a background in mining, energy, power, investment banking, or private equity will be given strong consideration
• Demonstrated skills in evaluating and negotiating business transactions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute all phases of Peabody Development activities, including joint venture development, business planning, transaction analysis, financial modeling, due diligence, negotiations, and transaction execution.
• Identify opportunities to maximize value from Peabody's assets through understanding energy markets, emerging technologies, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage existing commercial agreements and joint venture partnerships to support strategic and operational objectives.
• Visibly support Peabody's Mission and Values.
