Job summary

PKF O’Connor Davies seeks an experienced Employee Benefit Plan Audit Director to lead our EBPs practice. You will supervise engagements, mentor staff, and maintain client relationships while guiding growth strategy with Partners.

Responsibilities include planning, review of complex work, and advising on ERISA, DOL, IRS, and U.S. GAAP standards. An office-based hybrid schedule and collaboration with senior leadership are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• Approximately 10+ years of progressive public accounting audit experience with focus on employee benefit plans.
• CPA license strongly preferred and GAAP/GAAS/ERISA knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee a portfolio of employee benefit plan audit engagements.
• Provide engagement leadership from planning through completion.
• Review complex audit workpapers and related reporting.
• Advise clients on complex employee benefit plan audit matters and communicate recommendations.
• Mentor and coach Managers, Supervisors, Seniors and Associates.
