Job summary

T1 Energy is seeking a Director, EHS to lead all environmental, health, and safety operations at the G1 solar module facility in Wilmer, Texas. This is a senior leadership role for an EHS professional who knows high-throughput manufacturing inside and out and who can build programs, lead teams, and drive a strong safety culture.

The G1 facility produces more than 20,000 modules every 24 hours. You will ensure OSHA, EPA, and TCEQ compliance, manage permits and regulatory relationships, and drive

Qualifications

• Seasoned EHS leader with experience in large-scale, high-volume manufacturing.
• Deep knowledge of OSHA, EPA and state regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to build and scale EHS programs and safety cultures.
• Strong people leadership and ability to lead across multiple shifts.

Responsibilities

• Own all EHS programs and compliance for the G1 facility.
• Lead and develop a multi-person EHS team across 24/7 operations.
• Develop safety programs for hazards in solar module manufacturing.
• Ensure full OSHA, EPA and Texas regulatory compliance.
• Manage environmental permits, air quality reporting, waste programs, and regulator relationships.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Establish chemical safety programs and PPE protocols.
• Partner with Operations, Facilities, and Engineering to integrate EHS into workflows.
• Develop and deliver EHS training at all levels.
• Track EHS metrics and drive proactive risk reduction.
• Build a safety culture with ownership on every shift.
