Job summary

Skanska is seeking an Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Director to lead the integration of EHS into business practices and ensure regulatory compliance.

The role oversees EHS for all OU/Regional activities, interacts with EHS staff, superintendents, project managers and executives, and manages safety teams on large projects. A strong safety leadership background and OSHA 30 are required.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years identifying safety hazards and recommending controls.
  • 10+ years of safety experience in construction with communication to employees at all levels.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • 2+ years of managing direct reports.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, safety management, engineering, or equivalent, or 10 years of safety experience.

About the Role
