[REMOTE] Director of Marketing – DTC Ecommerce (ecommerce marketing exp. req.) Description

Our client manages a diverse portfolio of brands, each featuring its own website, sales team, and marketplace presence (50k SKUs company-wide). These divisions cater to a range of verticals, addressing both DTC and B2B audiences. They are looking to add a new Remote Director of Marketing who will roll up their sleeves, think big, and execute even bigger. This isn’t just about maintaining what exists. It’s about building what doesn’t—yet. They’re ready to break through a year of more stagnant growth and need a trailblazing revenue driver to lead the charge. This role is designed for a self-starter who can operate with little direction from above, generate and execute bold ideas, and take ownership of growth across all digital channels. Although you will oversee a team of 10 while also managing external agencies, this is a hands-on role. This would be the perfect fit for someone who identifies as scrappy and resourceful. Someone who values working in leaner environments where you can have more impact. Ultimately, this is a rare opportunity to build a legacy you can be proud of inside a well-established $65M business undergoing a strategic transformation. • Oversee promotional activities through organic and paid social media engagement
• Align marketing strategies across departments for unified customer experience
• Manage marketing KPIs and deliver regular performance reports with actionable insights
• Maintain relationships with agencies and vendors, conducting reviews to ensure performance
• Identify and implement new marketing channels and programs to drive growth
• Analyze competitive landscape and market trends to find opportunities for strategic advantage

[REMOTE] Director of Marketing – DTC Ecommerce (ecommerce marketing exp. req.) Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of digital marketing experience required
• 5+ years of driving growth within high-volume (5k+ SKUs) DTC ecommerce platforms required
• Experience overseeing paid media budgets of $1M or more required
• Experience with a variety of product categories (kitchen, consumer electronics, decor, etc.) required

Important Note: Given their diverse product categories, if your experience comes from one type of product category (i.e. apparel and fashion accessories), this would not be a great fit.
