University of Washington invites applications for an Associate or Full Professor of Clinical Practice to lead the Echocardiography Laboratory within Pediatric Cardiology. This full-time role combines clinical leadership, teaching and research, based in Seattle at UW Medicine and Seattle Children’s affiliation.

The incumbent will oversee lab performance, QA programs, and interdisciplinary collaboration; mentor faculty and staff, drive innovation in imaging, and advance the lab's national

Qualifications

• Must have an MD or DO degree and be board certified or eligible in Pediatric Cardiology.
• 4th year advanced imaging fellowship training required.
• Washington state license or eligibility for licensure for physicians.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Echocardiography Laboratory to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for the lab in collaboration with cardiology leadership.
• Mentor faculty, sonographers, trainees and administrative staff; supervise multidisciplinary team.
• Oversee QA programs and oversee imaging quality and reporting.
• Engage in non-invasive imaging clinical activities and provide expert interpretation.
• Contribute to education and research in pediatric non-invasive imaging.
