Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a seasoned media relations professional to lead earned media for conservative and national audiences. You will cultivate relationships with reporters, craft compelling pitches and materials, and guide junior staff in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

You will coordinate with account teams and policy experts to shape integrated communications campaigns, support proposal development, and drive coverage across traditional and digital outlets.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of experience in media relations, public affairs, political communications, or journalism.
• Working knowledge of the conservative media landscape.
• Demonstrated ability to secure placements in center-right outlets such as Fox News, Washington Examiner, and Daily Caller.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to craft and pitch compelling narratives.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple client priorities.
• Prior experience in a communications agency, campaign, Capitol Hill, media outlet, or advocacy organization preferred.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Collaborative and entrepreneurial spirit.
• Strategic understanding of how media engagement fits into broader communications and public affairs goals.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Not eligible for visa sponsorship.
