Job summary

The Department of Medicine at UCSF, the UCSF Helen Diller Family Comprehensive Cancer Center, and the Division of Hematology/Oncology are recruiting for a new clinical faculty member at Associate or Full Professor level to lead the Early Phase Experimental Therapeutics Program.

Candidates will oversee portfolio, see patients up to 4 half-days per week, and act as Principal Investigator on industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated trials; there are no inpatient duties in this role.

Qualifications

• MD or DO required with ABIM certification or eligibility in Medical Oncology.
• Strong track record in clinical or translational research with early-phase trials.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and grow the clinical trial portfolio of the Early Phase Experimental Therapeutics Program.
• See patients up to 4 half-days per week in outpatient clinics at UCSF Mission Bay.
• Serve as Principal Investigator on industry-sponsored and investigator-initiated trials.
