Job summary

AstraZeneca in Cambridge, MA, seeks a strategic leader to drive EO clinical operations technology and vendor excellence. You will shape the EO CPSO tech strategy, govern external partnerships, and champion AI-enabled modernization across CLP, IRT/RTSM, and digital health tools.

With 10+ years in pharma/clinical research and a strong track record in technology leadership, you will influence senior stakeholders, manage vendor performance, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver measurable value

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or related field.
10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or clinical research environments.
Significant leadership experience in clinical operations.
Proven track record in technology strategy, digital transformation, or innovation leadership.
Strong vendor management, governance, and senior relationships.

Responsibilities

Own and drive the EO clinical operations vendor technology roadmap.
Provide strategic oversight of outsourcing partnerships, CLP, IRT/RTSM, and digital health tools.
Partner with GCS and external partners to identify and scale technologies.
Champion an innovation culture across CPSO and COE communities.
Lead the integration of AI and automation into clinical operations vendor workflows.
