Job summary

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a Director of End-to-End Product Planning in Titusville, NJ. Lead multi-site, global supply chain planning across APIs and formulation, ensuring alignment of demand, production, and inventory in a monthly IBP cycle.

You will drive de-coupling points, replenishment strategies, and orchestrate cross-functional teams while managing risk and delivering uninterrupted supply for the Synthetics Platform.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. Focus degree within engineering, logistics, manufacturing, supply chain, finance or economics is a plus.
• An advanced degree (MBA or Master's degree) is preferred.
• Supply Chain certification is preferred (e.g., APICS).
• At least ten (10) years of demonstrated experience in manufacturing, planning, S&OP/IBP, and/or supply chain management.
• Experience with direct supervisory/team management.
• Demonstrated international/global experience with leadership and strong communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives across functions with changing priorities and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Define the E2E global supply chain configuration and related parameters (de-coupling points, replenishments strategies).
• NPI Planning Management.
• Ensure demand & net requirements propagation and driving alignment of the constrained E2E production and inventory plans in the monthly planning cycle.
• Take part in the executive IBP processes, leading the DSRM for your team portfolio.
• Resolve E2E issues (allocation management, root cause analyses).
• Ensure ongoing supply continuity for Synthetics Platform through orchestration across functions and nodes.
• Proactively manage and supervise execution across all nodes with accountable counterparts.
• Monitor business operations / KPIs, identify risks, and drive resolution; maintain stakeholder communications.
• Develop understanding of key risks and balance with tradeoffs to improve resilience.
• Drive harmonized communications to keep stakeholders informed across regional/global IBP forums.
• Work with GPEX / JJT teams to define and develop digital tools to support execution monitoring (control tower, batch tracker, digital twin).

In this role, you will be responsible, together with your team, to drive the optimal global planning of a portfolio of products from an End-to-End perspective across all dimensions of the JSC Supply Chain: API (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient) large and small molecule manufacturing sites, Formulation/Bulk sites, Fill-Finish sites, key external manufacturing sites and key suppliers through below:

Key Responsibilities

• Defining the E2E global supply chain configuration and related parameters (de-coupling points, replenishments strategies etc.)
• NPI Planning Management
• Ensuring demand & net requirements propagation and driving the alignment of the constrained E2E production and inventory plans in the monthly planning cycle, using multi-echelon planning techniques across the different global manufacturing nodes
• Taking part in the executive IBP processes, leading the DSRM for your team portfolio
• Resolves E2E issues (allocation management, root cause analyses, etc.)
• Ensure ongoing supply continuity for Synthetics Platform through orchestration across functions and nodes, aligning production and inventory to forecasted demand
• Proactively manage and supervise execution across all nodes, establishing a regular rhythm with accountable counterparts in Plan, VCL, Source, MTO/PES, Deliver, Quality, etc.
• Proactively monitor business operations / key performance indicators, ensure early identification of risks, drive resolution when exceptions occur, and maintain strong communications
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of key risks within the process, aligning them with tolerance levels and tradeoffs to improve long-term resilience
• Drive harmonized communications - both vertically and horizontally - to foster improved collaboration, and to keep stakeholders informed. Ensure connections to regional, global, and supply IBP forums (DSRM, CMO S&OP, PES SRM)
• Work with GPEX / JJT teams, define and develop digital toolset to support ongoing execution monitoring, e.g. control tower, batch tracker, digital twin

Education
