Job summary

Denver Seminary is seeking a Director of the Doctor of Ministry Program to lead the DMin area, reporting to the Provost. The role involves teaching as needed, supervising program staff, and expanding networks with churches and denominations.

A PhD is required and a Master of Divinity is preferred, with significant ministry leadership experience. The position offers flexible location options and requires commitment to the Seminary’s faith-based mission and values.

Qualifications

• PhD or an appropriate doctoral degree from an accredited institution.
• Master of Divinity degree in addition to the doctorate preferred.
• Significant senior-level ministry experience required.
• Solid understanding of the Evangelical movement in North America and globally required.

Responsibilities

• Communicates the vision of the DMin Program at Denver Seminary.
• Promotes program growth through leadership, marketing, and student recruitment.
• Collaborates with institutional vice presidents.
• Stewards curricular needs through the appropriate academic committees.
• Networks with churches, denominations, and organizations domestically and globally to expand the reach of the DMin Program.
• Teaches as appropriate to the individual’s discipline and program needs.
• Participates in relevant scholarly and professional organizations.
• Fulfills other responsibilities and duties assigned to all faculty in the Faculty Handbook.
• Cooperates with internal investigations, including Title IX and workplace matters.
• Provides leadership and active participation in legal proceedings involving the Seminary when required by administrative responsibilities.
