The Team

Join us as a Development Director to contribute to designing and creating world-class software. You will oversee the design, development, and implementation of solutions across A&M Tax, from internal tools to client-facing systems.

This role involves all aspects of the software development lifecycle: documentation, development, testing, debugging, and support. Mentoring developers and sharing knowledge to foster growth is also a key part of the role.

Responsibilities

  1. Lead and manage a team of software developers, QA engineers, and business analysts.
  2. Collaborate with stakeholders and clients to define business requirements.
  3. Architect scalable solutions using the latest technologies and best practices.
  4. Develop efficient, maintainable code with a hands-on approach.
  5. Ensure high-quality standards through testing.
  6. Mentor junior and senior developers.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, data analytics, or related fields; master's preferred.
  • Practical experience in software development.
  • 10+ years working with Microsoft .NET, C#, relational databases (MSSQL/PostgreSQL), Web API, and Azure.
  • 5+ years leading development teams, designing systems, and deploying solutions.
  • Strong problem-solving and entrepreneurial skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Tax knowledge and experience are a plus.
