Job summary

BeOne Medicines seeks a Director, Digital Solution Architecture to define and govern the future-state architecture of the global commercial technology ecosystem, spanning CRM, omnichannel engagement, and customer experience across Commercial, Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Customer Engagement.

This strategic leader partners with IT and business leaders, drives technology strategy, evaluates trends, and builds scalable frameworks to accelerate growth and digital transformation.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive technology leadership experience with at least 10 years supporting Life Sciences commercial organizations.
  • Proven experience leading enterprise architecture, solution architecture, or digital transformation initiatives at a Director level.
  • Extensive experience supporting Commercial, Sales, Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Customer Engagement functions within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or Life Sciences organizations.
  • Demonstrated success leading large-scale CRM modernization, omnichannel transformation, and enterprise platform initiatives.
  • Deep understanding of Life Sciences commercial and medical business processes, customer engagement models, and regulatory considerations.
  • Expertise in CRM platforms including Veeva CRM, Veeva Vault CRM, Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud, Salesforce Sales Cloud, Salesforce Service Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Data Cloud, digital integration tools, and associated commercial technology ecosystems.
  • Strong knowledge of omnichannel engagement, digital marketing, customer data platforms, content management, consent management, medical/MedInfo, and commercial analytics solutions.
  • Experience architecting complex enterprise integrations across CRM, ERP, Data & Analytics, Marketing Automation, Customer Experience, Data Warehouse, Data Lakes, and Content Management platforms.
  • Understanding of emerging technologies including AI, machine learning, customer intelligence, and digital engagement capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the long-term architecture vision, technology roadmap, and target-state capabilities for the global commercial technology ecosystem.
  • Partner with Commercial, Medical, Marketing, Data & Analytics, and IT leaders to align technology investments with strategic business objectives.
  • Serve as the technology advisor for CRM modernization, omnichannel transformation, customer engagement innovation, and digital enablement initiatives.
  • Influence enterprise technology strategy and investment planning through architecture-driven decision-making and business case development.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, market trends, and industry innovations to identify opportunities that improve customer engagement, operational effectiveness, and business outcomes.
  • Establish architecture standards and strategic direction for CRM, omnichannel engagement, digital marketing, customer experience, and field force enablement platforms.
  • Lead architecture decisions across critical commercial technology investments including CRM, content management, customer data platforms, identity and consent management, digital engagement, analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities.
  • Drive the evolution of customer engagement models by integrating field, digital, medical, and marketing channels into a unified omnichannel ecosystem.
  • Ensure solutions support evolving commercial models and future industry requirements.
  • Govern architecture across a complex ecosystem of enterprise platforms, integrations, data services, and customer engagement technologies.
  • Define enterprise integration strategies and architecture patterns that support scalability, interoperability, and operational efficiency.
  • Lead architecture reviews, technology assessments, vendor evaluations, and platform selection initiatives.
  • Ensure all solutions adhere to enterprise standards for security, compliance, data governance, performance, and maintainability.
  • Build strong partnerships with stakeholders across business and technology organizations.
  • Facilitate alignment among senior leaders with competing priorities and differing perspectives.
  • Lead architecture governance forums, steering committees, and executive decision-making processes.

General Description:

The Director, Digital Solution Architecture is a strategic technology leadership role responsible for defining and governing the future-state architecture of the organization’s global commercial technology ecosystem. This individual will serve as the principal architecture leader for CRM, omnichannel engagement, customer experience, digital enablement, and commercial data integration platforms supporting Commercial, Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Customer Engagement functions worldwide.

As a trusted advisor to IT and business leadership, the Director will drive technology strategy, influence investment decisions, evaluate emerging industry trends, and establish scalable architecture frameworks that accelerate business growth and digital transformation. This role requires a unique blend of deep Life Sciences expertise, commercial and medical technology leadership, architectural excellence, stakeholder influence, and organizational change leadership.

The successful candidate will possess extensive experience across Life Sciences CRM platforms, omnichannel ecosystems, customer engagement technologies, and enterprise integrations while demonstrating the ability to align diverse stakeholders, manage competing strategic priorities, and translate complex business challenges into innovative technology solutions.

Essential Functions of the Job:

Strategic Technology Leadership

  • Oversee vendor and system integrator resources supporting CRM, marketing automation, omnichannel enablement, data warehouse, among others.
