Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.

• Broad understanding of digital work streams (infrastructure, security, analytics, applications, and business processes).
• Experience in industrial, HVAC, or manufacturing sectors.

Daikin Applied Americas (DAA) is seeking a talented Director, Digital Site Leader for facilities located in the Phoenix area. The Director, Digital Site Leader – Phoenix will serve as the digital and technology leader supporting the Phoenix-based operations, including manufacturing plants, direct sales and parts stores, and majority own businesses. This role will act as a strategic business partner and technology leader responsible for driving digital transformation, operational excellence, infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity maturity, system integration, and exceptional digital employee experience. As a key leader within DAA Digital, this individual will lead the integration of majority own businesses into the broader DAA technology ecosystem while identifying opportunities to leverage digital capabilities to improve operational performance, optimize costs, and accelerate business growth. Operating at the intersection of strategy and execution, this role combines technology leadership, business relationship management, digital transformation, infrastructure, application management, security alignment, and change management into a single site-based leadership position. What You Will Do

• Strategic Digital Leadership: Serve as the primary digital leader and trusted advisor for manufacturing plants, direct sales and parts stores and majority own businesses
• Develop and execute a multi-year digital roadmap aligned with DAA business objectives
• Drive digital optimization initiatives that improve operational efficiency, customer experience, and profitability
• Identify and implement opportunities to leverage enterprise digital platforms, analytics, automation, AI, and emerging technologies
• Build strong partnerships with site leadership, functional leaders, and enterprise technology teams
• Translate business priorities into actionable technology solutions
• Facilitate governance, prioritization, and execution of digital initiatives
• Communicate project status, risks, opportunities, and business outcomes to executive stakeholders
• Lead the phased integration of majority own businesses into the DAA technology ecosystem
• Partner with the Digital M&A team to develop and execute integration plans across digital
• Partner with functional leaders to support adoption of digital platforms
• Ensure business continuity while driving transformational changes
• Identify opportunities to improve operating income through technology optimization and process improvements
• Lead digital initiatives focused on cost optimization, workflow automation, data analytics, and operational efficiency
• Partner with business stakeholders to prioritize investments and maximize ROI
• Manage site technology infrastructure, applications, end-user computing, telecommunications, and collaboration technologies
• Ensure alignment with DAA infrastructure, security standards, policies, and strategic initiatives
• Lead remediation of technology risks and infrastructure gaps
• Drive reliability, resilience, and performance of technology services across Phoenix operations
• Ensure readiness for audits, compliance requirements, and risk assessments
• Deliver an exceptional digital employee experience
• Champion user-centric technologies, support models, and workplace innovation
• Measure and improve employee satisfaction with technology services
• Act as an advocate for workforce productivity and digital enablement

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years of technology innovation experience, inclusive of technology and engineering
• 10+ years of progressive experience in leadership, or digital transformation delivery within complex, cross-functional environments
• 6+ years of people leadership experience
• 4+ years of program management experience and experience working on multiple projects simultaneously
• Broad understanding and experience with digital work streams (infrastructure, security, analytics, applications (CRM, ERP, etc.), and business processes).
• Experience in industrial, HVAC or manufacturing sectors.
• Experience in sales and service sectors.
• Excellent communication, presentation, cross-functional collaboration abilities with digital and business leaders.
• Proven ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and influence senior leaders across functions.

• MBA or advanced degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline

Salary

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $142,600 - $250,900 (+ 30% bonus) in Minnesota. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
