Job summary

Wabtec is seeking a customer-facing leader to drive automation and digital services for rail customers. You will oversee cross-functional programs connecting customer needs with digital solutions to enhance operational performance and long-term value realization.

The role demands 10+ years in program management, strong stakeholder management, and financial acumen, with familiarity in data platforms and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in program management, service delivery, or digital transformation roles.
• Experience leading cross-functional programs with software, data, analytics or connected tech.
• Strong customer engagement with operational and technical leaders.
• Ability to coordinate execution across multiple stakeholders in a matrix org.
• Financial and commercial awareness supporting forecasting and margins.
• Technical fluency in data platforms, cloud analytics, or automation.
• Experience in rail, transportation, or industrial IoT environments.
• Preferred: PMP, Agile or related PM certifications.

Responsibilities

• Define and evolve automation service strategy aligned with Digital Intelligence.
• Serve as trusted advisor to customer stakeholders across orgs.
• Build long-term relationships focused on value realization.
• Partner with engineering to ensure scalable, secure, and sustainable solutions.
• Lead delivery and ongoing optimization of automation programs across the lifecycle.
• Manage multi-workstream initiatives across operations, engineering, data, and product.
• Establish governance, KPIs, SLAs, and reporting for service performance.
• Lead periodic business reviews on performance and adoption impact.
• Monitor program financials including forecasting and margin considerations.
• Identify opportunities to expand service value with commercial teams.
• Apply knowledge of telematics, analytics, and cloud platforms to service delivery.
• Lead through influence in a matrixed environment and drive accountability.
