Job summary

The Digital Lead - US PH Medical and Market Access role at Bayer in Whippany, NJ leads digital initiatives in medical and market access functions in the US.

You will steer the US IT product portfolio, collaborate with Market Access and Medical teams, manage budgets, and guide product owners to deliver innovative digital solutions that improve patient access and healthcare outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, information science or equivalent.
• Several years of professional experience within US Pharma industry in Market Access and/or Medical functions.
• Know-how of IT systems that are relevant to the function.
• Experience in digital and IT transformation projects.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of management.
• Strong communication skills, analytical, structural and strategic skills.
• Proven track record of working with external vendors.
• Financial acumen to manage large budgets and create value to the company.

• Support enablement and identify new solutions and technologies to foster a sustainable technology base that supports compliant and effective operations in the area.
• Liaison with the Market Access and Medical US teams to identify value potential through new digital business models.
• Bring business and digital insights to full potential by bridging between US needs and company’s IT strategy.
• Steer and lead the functional part of the US IT product portfolio including cost and implementation roadmap of technology development.
• If needed- coach the product owners/managers in the associated IT Platforms in gathering and compiling business requirements.
• The primary location of this role is Whippany, NJ.

Director, Digital Lead - US PH Medical and Market Access

PURPOSE:

As the Digital Lead - PH US (Medical & Market Access), the incumbent fully understands the key processes (especially focusing on medical and market access functions) in the US and orchestrates digital activities to enable efficiency, effectiveness and innovation.

WHO YOU ARE:

This posting will be available for application until at least 10/1/2026.

Employees can expect to be paid a salary between $151,120.00 - $226,680.00. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). If selected for this role, the offer may vary based on market data/ranges, an applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other relevant factors.
