Job summary

Reliance Matrix seeks a senior technical and delivery authority to guide a complex portfolio of customer-facing digital capabilities, including web and mobile experiences, portals, onboarding, APIs, and integrations. You will shape long-term roadmaps, evaluate major investments, and influence architects, leads, and partners through collaboration rather than direct management.

You will partner with Product, security, operations, and vendors to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable solutions,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science, software engineering, information systems, engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in software engineering, digital product development, or technology delivery.
• Expert-level knowledge of modern software engineering and digital delivery, including web/app architecture, APIs, cloud, secure development, DevOps/CI-CD, automated testing, observability, reliability, production support, and AI-enabled delivery practices.
• Ability to design, validate, and troubleshoot highly complex customer-facing digital solutions and solve enterprise-impact problems with no established pattern.
• Experience influencing major technology investments, modernization roadmaps, platform direction, vendor strategies, and enterprise priorities.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior technical and delivery authority for digital portfolio and modernization priorities.
• Translate business direction into technically sound delivery roadmaps and measurable outcomes.
• Design and validate complex digital solutions, guiding architecture and cross-team coordination.
• Provide technical direction across architects, leads, and vendor teams through influence.
• Set direction for secure development, Agile delivery, testing, deployment controls, and observability.
• Mentor engineers to strengthen practices without direct people-management authority.
• Identify and resolve risks across technical, delivery, vendor, security, and compliance areas.
