Job summary

Baptist Health Corbin is seeking a Director of Diagnostic Imaging to provide leadership and operational oversight of the imaging services. This role drives policy development, budget management, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance patient care.

The position requires ARRT certification with active licensure, 5+ years of leadership experience, and a Bachelor’s in Radiology/Imaging; a Master’s degree is preferred. BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Radiology/Imaging Program.
• Minimum 5 years job-related experience.
• Registered with ARRT in at least one field of Radiology and active ARRT and KBMIRT license.
• BLS – American Heart Association required within 90 days of hire.
• Master’s Degree preferred; AHRA certification may substitute for minimum degree.

Team members serve as a vital link between patients, providers, technologists, and clinical departments, helping coordinate imaging services while delivering exceptional customer service and support throughout the patient's care experience.The Director of Diagnostic Imaging will be responsible for the development, organization, and ongoing management of diagnostic imaging services. Responsibilities that include planning, implementing, evaluating quality of care and management, development and motivation of personnel. Assists in the development and implementation of imaging standards of practice, policies and procedures, standards of patient care, and metrics to measure, assess, and improve patient care consistent with research, evidence-based practices, and nationally recognized professional standards. Prepares and submits budget and is responsible for maintaining adherence to the budget. Coordinates and/or participate in multidisciplinary teams involving internal and external members. Responsible for appropriate delegation and supervision of the duties of the diagnostic imaging staff.
