Director, Demand Planning & SIOP

Position overview:

The Director, Demand Planning & SIOP is responsible for all demand planning activities across North America. The role is also responsible for the monthly SIOP process, from Demand through Executive Review cycle.

Main responsibilities:

The Director, Demand Planning & SIOP will be responsible for the following:

  1. Lead team of Senior Demand Planners and Demand Planners responsible for improving forecast accuracy and bias at the account level
  2. Responsible for North American SIOP Program, including hosting monthly meetings with Executive Leadership, and ensuring team members are adhering to the monthly process
  3. Develop demand segmentation process and recommend forecasting and fulfillment strategies based on findings
  4. Develop and maintain close relationship with sales teams to drive improved engagement and communication between groups to improve long-term forecast accuracy
  5. Develop advanced KPIs and Dashboards to monitor, analyze, and improve forecast accuracy
  6. Develop associates through hiring, coaching, mentoring, performance management, and succession planning
  7. Continuous improvement of forecasting & SIOP processes and systems

Skills and Qualifications:

  1. 10+ years’ experience in Supply Chain, SIOP and/or Demand Planning
  2. Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Supply Chain or related field
  3. Prior experience leading monthly SIOP process a must
  4. Experience working with advanced forecasting tools and techniques required
  5. Experience working with large datasets preferred
  6. Proficient in Tableau, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Access
  7. Knowledge of ToolsGroup Demand Planning software a plus
  8. Customer oriented with a strong sense of urgency
  9. Ability to collaborate at all levels of the organization and across all functional areas including at Executive levels
  10. Comfortable communicating and presenting to Executive Leadership
  11. Decision maker, ability to lead and communicate cross functionally throughout all levels of the organization
