Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery for a BFSI portfolio across data platforms, regulatory and risk reporting, integrations, and AI-driven solutions.
• Drive transformational initiatives from roadmap to production, ensuring scope, timeline, quality, and business outcomes.
• Act as trusted advisor to CxOs and senior stakeholders, shaping roadmaps aligned to strategy and regulatory priorities.
• Establish value measures with clients at engagement start and report against them throughout.
• Lead delivery with AI-native methods, integrating agentic frameworks and human-in-the-loop controls.

Director, Delivery (Banking & Financial Services)

Role Overview

Anblicks is seeking an accomplished Director, Delivery to lead our banking and financial services delivery portfolio. The role leads large Data and AI transformation programs for banks, lenders, insurers, and capital markets clients, and is accountable for outcomes, margin, and client trust across that portfolio.

We are looking for a leader who delivers the way modern teams now can: AI-assisted engineering, agentic workflows, and reusable data products built into how work gets done, not added on afterward. The Director will make that the standard across BFSI engagements, and will use it to raise delivery quality, shorten time to value, and open new growth with existing and new clients.

The Director partners with client executives, works closely with Sales, Presales, and Architecture, and builds the leaders who run engagements day to day.

Key Responsibilities

Transformation delivery and portfolio ownership

• Own end-to-end delivery for a multi-client BFSI portfolio across data platforms, regulatory and risk reporting, integrations, and AI-driven solutions.
• Drive transformational initiatives from roadmap to production, keeping scope, timeline, quality, and business outcomes on track.
• Act as a trusted advisor to client CxOs and senior stakeholders, shaping technology roadmaps that align to business strategy and regulatory priorities.
• Establish clear value measures with clients at the start of each engagement and report against them throughout.

AI-native and agentic delivery

• Embed AI and agentic AI across the delivery lifecycle, including requirements, design, code generation, testing, migration, documentation, and operations, with measurable productivity gains.
• Partner with Engineering and Architecture to adopt agentic delivery frameworks, human-in-the-loop controls, and engineering practices that scale across accounts.
• Define and track delivery efficiency metrics such as cycle time, rework, effort per outcome, and run cost, and use them to reset estimates, pricing, and team shape.
• Redesign delivery team structures and roles for AI-assisted work and bring clients along on the change.

Data, AI, and process intelligence

• Guide clients on modern data architecture, including lakehouse and cloud data platforms, data products, semantic and ontology layers, governance, and data quality.
• Lead engagements that apply data products and agentic AI to process intelligence, turning operational and transaction data into automation and better decisions in areas such as lending, onboarding, KYC and AML, claims, servicing, and regulatory reporting.
• Review architecture and design to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and compliant with BFSI regulatory and model risk expectations.

Growth and client expansion

• Identify and shape expansion opportunities within existing accounts, and support new pursuits through solution design, RFP responses, and executive presentations.
• Build and maintain BFSI solutions, accelerators, playbooks, reference architectures, and reusable assets that strengthen Anblicks' position in the sector.
• Represent Anblicks with clients, partners, and industry forums as a credible BFSI Data and AI voice.

Governance, financials, and risk

• Run portfolio governance covering P&L, delivery margin, forecasting, risk management, stakeholder reporting, and performance tracking.
• Govern global delivery across onsite, nearshore, and offshore teams with operational discipline and a focus on client satisfaction.
• Hold delivery teams to consistent standards for security, compliance, and engagement health.

People and leadership

• Mentor and grow delivery managers, POD leads, and architects, and build a strong bench of BFSI delivery leaders.
• Work with Talent and Engineering leadership on hiring, skill development, and capability building in AI-native delivery.

Qualifications & Experience

• 15+ years in IT services or consulting, with deep experience in Data Platforms, Analytics, and AI-led transformation.
• Proven delivery leadership in banking and financial services, having executed key transformational engagements focused on data and AI for banks, lenders, insurers, or capital markets firms.
• Track record managing multi-million-dollar programs and multi-client portfolios, with P&L and margin accountability.
• Hands‑on understanding of modern data architectures, including cloud data platforms, data products, governance, and integration patterns.
• Practical experience applying AI and agentic AI to engineering and business process efficiency, with results you can point to, and familiarity with how AI-enabled delivery methods differ from traditional ones.
• Experience leading global, cross‑functional teams across onsite, nearshore, and offshore models.
• Consulting orientation, including deal shaping, executive presentations, and CxO-level engagement.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with execution discipline, and to lead change in teams and clients.

Preferred

• Background with Snowflake, Databricks, or hyperscaler data platforms in regulated environments.
• Exposure to regulatory reporting, risk and compliance data, or model risk governance in BFSI.
• Experience building delivery accelerators or IP that has been reused across clients.
