Healthcare Realty Trust Inc. in Nashville, TN seeks a hands-on Director, Data Strategy & Governance to own the enterprise data lake on Microsoft Fabric and lead a small development team.

You will design pipelines, ensure data quality, lineage, and governance to enable financial reporting and AI applications. You will transition platform ownership from a partner, implement DevOps for the data platform, and partner with Finance, Asset Management, Leasing, and IT to deliver data solutions.

Qualificações

• 8+ years of hands-on data engineering or data platform experience.
• 2+ years leading or mentoring a team of engineers or developers.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric or Azure data services.
• Strong SQL and Python (including PySpark) production-quality coding.
• Experience designing lakehouse/data warehouse architectures with medallion models.
• Experience implementing data governance, lineage, quality, and access controls.
• Experience building Power BI semantic models and DAX measures.
• Experience with source control, CI/CD pipelines, and data platform environments.
• Ability to explain technical topics to business and executive audiences.
• Strong ownership, organization, and follow-through.

Responsabilidades

• Own the enterprise data lake on Microsoft Fabric, including architecture and day-to-day reliability.
• Lead the platform ownership transition from a partner with clear documentation and runbooks.
• Design, build, and maintain pipelines across bronze, silver, and gold layers.
• Write production code with team for quality, tests, and documentation.
• Extend the data lake with new sources and data domains as needs grow.
• Build and maintain curated data models and Power BI semantic models.
• Prepare data lake for AI/agentic AI solutions with governed data products.
• Establish DevOps practices: source control, pipelines, release management, monitoring.
• Own data governance: ownership, stewardship, catalog, metrics.
• Maintain end-to-end lineage and access controls, including SOX-related data.
• Lead master data management for properties, tenants, leases, health systems.
• Coach two direct reports and collaborate with business/tech stakeholders.
• Manage vendor relationships and communicate progress to leadership.
