Job summary

DoorDash, Inc. is seeking a Director of Data Science to lead a broad, high-impact DashOS portfolio. You will shape metrics, guide product and commercial strategy, and build data foundations enabling fast, informed decisions across packages at different maturity stages.

You will report to a Senior Director on the Merchant Analytics team. The role emphasizes building a high-performing team, raising decision speed and quality, and identifying top ROI opportunities across the portfolio within a

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in Data Science, Analytics, or related field with senior leadership experience.
Strong product and business analytics judgment with ability to define metrics and influence strategy.
Expertise in experimentation and causal inference, comfortable with imperfect data and evolving products.

Responsibilities

Lead and grow a team of data science and analytics leaders across a diverse portfolio.
Own analytical direction including KPI design, forecasting, and decision support.
Partner with Product, Engineering, Strategy & Operations, and Go-to-Market to influence roadmaps and investments.
Build operating system for decision-making with reliable instrumentation and single sources of truth.
Operate with broad scope and autonomy in a startup-like environment within a scaled analytics org.
