An established industry player is seeking a Lead for its Data Regulatory Advisory & Management team. The Data Regulatory Advisory & Management team within the Enterprise Data Office’s (EDO) Business Enablement and Data Governance group leads messaging on Citi’s Consent Order commitments, progress against them, to regulators, senior management, and the Board. This includes leadership on regulatory correspondence, Consent Order Quarterly Progress Reporting, agenda-setting and content development for data-related regulatory meetings, contributions to Board meetings, regulatory examination support, and strategic advice on data governance, progress measurement, and compliance. The team also provides thought leadership on addressing action items and proactively works across the EDO organization to address risks and implement solutions.
The Lead reports to the Head of Data Regulatory Advisory & Management and plays a critical role in leading Citi’s data transformation, a multi-year effort to embed a data governance discipline that values information to support business strategies, improve data quality, and foster innovation. Excellent communication skills are required to negotiate internally at a senior level. The position involves partnering with stakeholders across Citi’s business, function, and technology teams to develop messaging that articulates risk reduction and progress to various stakeholders, including senior leadership and regulators.
