Prudential in Newark, NJ is seeking a Director Data Governance for a hybrid role (3 days/week). You will lead assurance for data quality and Responsible AI controls across data products, AI initiatives, models, and GenAI use cases.

You will develop dashboards, KPI/KRI reporting, and evidence packages to show data quality health, AI risk posture, remediation progress, and adherence to standards. You will translate policy requirements into executable procedures and testing routines.

• Experience in data governance and AI governance within regulated environments.
• Ability to translate policies into executable assurance procedures and testing routines.
• Proven track record delivering risk-based assurance across data and AI products.

• Lead assurance execution for Data Quality and Responsible AI controls.
• Translate data and AI policy requirements into practical assurance procedures and testing routines.
• Define and execute data quality assessment routines (profiling, completeness, accuracy, timeliness).
• Develop dashboards, scorecards, and KPI/KRI reporting for visibility into data quality and AI risk.
• Coordinate issue triage, remediation tracking, and evidence management for findings.
• Partner with product, data, technology, risk, and audit stakeholders to embed assurance into delivery workflows.
• Support pilots and scale-out of integrated Data Quality and AI control plane.
