Job summary

BNY is seeking a Director, POM Product Management to join the Wealth Data Group in Jersey City, NJ. You will shape data product strategy, drive roadmaps, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions that meet business objectives.

The role emphasizes mentoring, stakeholder collaboration, and measurement of impact through KPIs and ROI, with a focus on changing the status quo and delivering innovative data products.

Qualifications

• 10-12 years of demonstrated ability in product development and delivery.
• High degree of proficiency in OKR, Design Thinking, Event Storming, prototyping, iterative development, Scrum, and Agile product development.
• Bachelor's degree in business or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to define, prioritize, and deliver high-impact data products that address complex business challenges and drive measurable outcomes.
• Own the data product strategy, vision, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives, enterprise architecture, and long-term scalability.
• Define product requirements, create user stories, prioritize backlogs, and guide cross-functional teams in delivering well-designed, efficient, and scalable data solutions.
• Analyze market trends, emerging technologies, and competitive developments to inform product strategy, and innovation opportunities.
• Establish and monitor KPIs, and success metrics to measure product adoption, business impact, and ROI.
• Mentor and develop product owners and team members, fostering collaboration and continuous learning.
• Collaborate with Product/Platform Leadership to share progress, flag challenges, and codify lessons learned.
