Director Data Platforms

I'm seeking a Director Data Platforms for a full-time, remote position with a stable and growing company in the local area. This is a great opportunity for an energetic leader who is passionate about technology, modernization, and continuous integration, and wants to share that passion with a team of Data Engineering professionals. This person will be responsible for all On-Prem data storage related aspects, including tools, storage, and team management. Interested candidates should have the following skill set:

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in data engineering, data architecture, and platform management
• 4+ years leading a team, hiring, mentoring, and setting strategic vision in a management role
• Experience transitioning from internal On-Prem to IPaaS
• Ensure Data Platforms are scalable and reliable, supporting advanced analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence
• Expertise with cloud platforms, data services, Azure, Big Data, Hadoop, Snowflake
• Familiarity with Data Integration tools and Containerization
