Job summary

Madrigal is seeking a Director of Data Governance, Quality & Enablement to lead governance, quality, metadata, lineage, and cataloging across the enterprise data ecosystem. You will partner with IT Security, Privacy, Compliance, and business data owners to embed governance into pipelines and data products, enabling trusted data for analytics, automation, and AI use cases.

The role requires 10+ years in data governance with 5+ years in leadership, strong command of modern data platforms, and

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in data governance, data management or related disciplines.
• 5+ years in leadership roles building enterprise data governance capabilities.
• Experience designing and operationalizing governance frameworks with data ownership and stewardship.

Responsibilities

• Own the development and execution of the IT data governance roadmap.
• Establish governance standards across the enterprise data platform.
• Implement data quality, metadata, lineage, and cataloging capabilities.
• Partner with Data Owners, Stewards and IT Security for controls.
• Ensure data solutions meet regulatory requirements and AI readiness.
• Lead adoption of governed data products and self-service analytics.
