Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Sr Manager/ Director to drive Data Center Strategies & Initiatives. This position will focus on overseeing all market strategy, siting strategy, and energy supply strategy for our portfolio of sites, including collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive strategic plan around data center growth opportunities.
• Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, opportunities, and the competitive landscape.
• Lead market analysis and site selection for greenfield project development.
• Originate and execute project greenfield, M&A, and co-development transactions.
• Assist with structuring and closing large wholesale power transactions.
• Represent at industry events and develop relationships with utilities and data center developers.
• Track large load-focused policies across multiple markets.
• Become well-versed in utility tariffs and rate structures.

Skills / Experience:

• Bachelors degree plus minimum four years relevant industry experience; or Masters degree with minimum three years of relevant work experience.
• Minimum of three years of North American power market experience.
• Strong understanding of the data center market.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-starter; comfortable with ambiguity.
• Ability to derive insights from disparate data sources.
